SU Podium V2 sample models |

In this section there are four sample models that you are welcome to download and to open in Google SketchUp 7 to test SU Podium V2's rendering capabilities. 1. Barelona Pavilion model
The famous Barcelona Pavilion is duplicated in this model. V2 properties have been applied to textures so you can render immediately. V2 options are set to Default preset with no change in sun intensity. Suggestion: After rendering once, change the Options, Preset to Exterior_default. Also add Bumps to the water material. 2. Automatic materials sample
This model has no Podium properties set on any of the materials. However, since the model uses SketchUp 7 or 8 standard materials, Podium applies certain reflection, refraction, bump, blur properties to these materials automatically. Caretaker House has several Scenes setup that are ready to render. Each scene has some hidden groups or layers to demonstrate various V2 properties. Options settings are using default settings but feel free to experiment. Download Caretaker-House.skp Here 4. Cottage Interior-Exterior
Default presets with sun intensity and brightness up. Floor has blurred reflections in this image.
Interior-Exterior has two SketchUp scenes that are ready to render. For the interior you will need to experiment with texture properties and presets. The model is current setup to have default presets and no blurred reflections. This makes the rendering fast but not necessarily the best quality. Download Cottage-Interior-Exterior.skp Here 5. Sponza
Sponza model is ready for "out-of-the-box" rendering. No V2 properties have been applied. The above image is using Exterior-QMC presets but the model is ready to render with the Default preset. The rendering demonstrates how well V2's Global Illumination works. 6. Ando
The Ando model is a great study of rendering interiors with no artificial lighting. The floor has blurred reflections. The interior is too dark for the Default preset as is. It is recommended that you use the interior-default preset. |
