This month is all about the bathroom in Podium Browser, as over 60 new faucets, drying racks, shower-heads, and bathroom accessories have been added from the Kohler collection. We've also recently lauched the new LEM materials category, so you can now add pre-made light emitting materials to your scene straight from Podium Browser. Here's is a small selection of the new components that have been added in recent weeks:

Used as fill lights, Podium's Light Emitting Materials are an easy way to brighten up a scene and provide a realistic complement to Podium's Physical Sun and Sky. However, due to their ability to emit colored light, they can also be useful in interesting special effects, as seen in the image above. In this case, LEM materials were placed behind translucent glass to create a very cool backlit look. Click the image to see a breakdown of the effect.

Our Podium Browser light fixtures are calibrated according to manufacturer specifications to provide natural, realistic results right out of the box. However it's always nice to know how to make small tweaks when necessary to help you achieve a perfect lighting solution. In this month's quick tip, we cover light power and explain the process for adjusting the brightness of a Podium Browser light fixture.

This will enable you to create your kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, exteriors and landscape designs in SketchUp effectively.
Rendering the Browser components photo-realistically with SU Podium V2 or Podium Walker does not require anything but to turn the render button on. Podium Browser free content is included in SU Podium V2 free trial or full version. The Paid content must be purchased.
Podium Browser Paid content is still $59.00 for a permanent license. You will be able to access new content that is added each month as a Paid content owner. Second license is 25% off.
