Fourteen 360° cloud domes and over 30 180/360° panoramic backgrounds have recently been added to Podium browser.

These additions can be found in the Environment category, under "Cloud Domes" and are great for exterior rendering and outdoor panorama presentations. Here's a sample of the new clouds domes:

These were shot with a fisheye lens, and processed using an alpha version of Mikeal Simburger's killcolor plugin.

  • No need to add a sky in post-processing: Drop clouds directly into your scene from Browser. Realistic skies without tedious post work and color-matching.
  • Works along with Podium Physical Sky - Cloud domes work with Physical Sky 2, and can be used with nearly the full range of SketchUp date/time settings.
  • Realistic cloud reflections on windows/glazing - Skydomes will be reflected in your sceneā€”a big advantage over post-processed skies.
  • Cover the entire sky - Skydomes cover the entire 360 degrees of sky. No more gaps or repetition in your Panorama presentations.

Also available - Panoramic background images: We have over thirty new 180 & 360° panoramic background image planes, shot in both rural and street settings. These are meant to work along with the cloud domes, to help create a believable transition from ground to sky. They are excellent for general exterior rendering and perfect for panorama presentations. Here are some of the backgrounds we've added::

This month's additions include bedding sets, fireplaces, road signs, new 3D plants, and ove 100 2D plants and trees.
