Mac: Install for me only problem

Install for Me Only installs SU Podium V2 and V2 Plus in a different folder. How to uninstall from your User directory.

SketchUp 2014 Mac - automatic uninstall

    During the install process, if you accidently choose Install for me only this will install SU Podium V2 Plus in a different folder than it should be in. The uninstall-podium-2014.app will remove SU Podium V2/ V2 Plus files and folders from your User directory. Download the .zipped file and run it. This uninstall app will remove SU Podium folders and files from (your computer name)\Library\Application Support\SketchUp 2014\SketchUp\Plugins\ folder. You will not have to remove anything manually.

SketchUp 8 on the Mac - manually remove from your User directory

    During the install process, if you accidently choose Install for me only this will install SU Podium V2 or V2 plus in a different folder than it should be. You will need to remove files manually. go to your User (your computer name)\Library\Application Support\Google SketchUp 8\Google SketchUp\Plugins\ folder and see these files and folders. The Mac uninstall we have provided will not uninstall if SU Podium is in this location. Rremove these files and folders manually.
    1. SU_Podium_V2.rbs
    2. SU_Podium_V2 folder
    3. SU_Podium_Browser.rbs if it exists
    4. SUPodium_Section_Tool.rbs if it exists
    5. PodiumSections folder if it exists
    6. EditInPlace.rbs if it exists

    Finder not displaying hidden folders and files such as MacIntosh-->Library?

    Solutions:
    1. open terminal and enter this to view hidden files: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
      killall Finder
    2. Open Finder. Select a device such as MacIntosh HD. Open Go in Finder. Then open Go To Folder and type in Library.
    3. Their are other Mac apps that will display hidden folders and files. One is Tweaks. We do not endorse this product but it is one way to display hidden folders and files in Lion, Mt.Lion and Maverick. The Mt. Lion version works with Maverick.
